Solving the halves problem

Club legend Mark ‘MG’ Geyer says Luke Walsh only has a few weeks to prove himself as a NRL standard player after yesterday’s performance in a loss to the Titans.

Luke Walsh has been the regular half for a long time and despite a tremendous 2010 steering the Panthers to the finals, he has not been able to recapture that form.

Blake Austin appears to be out of favour with the club and Lachlan Coote on the injured list, there doesn’t seem to be a likely replacement for Walsh.

Kevin Kingston playing five-eighth would allow James Segeyaro to play start up hooker and considering the former Cowboy’s early season form that could be a viable alternative.

Isaac John also is waiting in the wings having made the move to our club at the start of 2013.

Tom Humble deserves his place in the line-up after two good performances which were highlighted by covering tackles in both games and an intercept try yesterday.

Who do you think should be the combination if Luke Walsh is dropped?
