The closing game of what is sure to be an enthralling first round of the new 2014 NRL season , will see the Sharks take on the Titans at Remondis Stadium.
Cronulla’s highly publicised off field dramas over the past year leaves the embattled black , white and blue hungrier than ever to post a win in round one of the competition.
Cronulla have some injury concerns coming into this clash with five-eighth Todd Carney in doubt as well as both Wade Graham and Beau Ryan under injury clouds.
The Sharks come up against a Titans side full of the ideal mix of speed, youth and experience. Led by young halves , Albert Kelly and Aidan Sezer the Titans have the potential to be title contenders in 2014 and a win against the Sharks would get their campaign off to the best possible starts.
The Titans are a massive chance in this match , however even with a handful of players unlikely to take the field for the Sharks I still expect the boys from the shire to be too strong for the Titans.
