After going down by three points to the Wests Tigers in the game of the season on Easter Monday, the Parramatta Eels travel up to 1300SMILES Stadium to tackle the North Queensland Cowboys who are coming off a controversial loss to the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles.

After such a great game it will be interesting to see how mentally prepared the Eels are, they were fantastic and if not for a dodgy no-try call going against them, they could have won. Jarryd Hayne and Chris Sandow are in good form, but both were guilty of costly errors last week; both threw wild passes that resulted in a Tigers try, while Sandow kicked just 1/4.

The Cowboys have dropped half back Robert Lui, replaced by Ray Thompson. Rory Kostjasyn is the new hooker. The Eels have lost Kenny Edwards for a month with a broken hand, and Pauli Pauli is the new starting prop and Peni Terepo comes onto the bench.

A tough one to call, the Cowboys have been threatening to click all season, but are languishing in 13th position. The Eels are a vastly improved team, but are prone to lapses in defence, and Jonathan Thurston will be ready when this happens.
