Young halfback Luke Brooks set up Pat Richards for the Tigers first try of the second half to reclaim the lead by 4 points.

Uate scored for the Knights in the 51st minute to become the all-time leading try scorer in the clubs history.

A Luke Brooks 40/20 in the 63rd minute resulted in Kurt Gidley being sent to the bin for a professional foul on Robbie Farah who was trying to gain advantage from the new 40/20 quick tap rule. Pat Richards slotting the penalty goal to level the scores at 16 all.

Richards was in the thick of the action again moments later when he landed a field goal to put the Tigers ahead by one point.

Chris Lawrence scored in the 68th minute to push the Tigers lead out to 23-16 however the Knights still had one last attempt at claiming victory.
