Gold Coast Titans
Current ladder position: 13th
Run Home:Cowboys (A),Roosters (A), Sea Eagles (H), Dragons (A), Warriors (A), Bulldogs (H)
The Gold Coast Titans face an uphill battle to play finals football for the first time since 2010 with a horror draw that sees them play 3 top 8 sides and 3 teams on the edge of the eight.
Currently on 20 points, the Titans would have to win at least 4 out of their last six games, and even then, they would most likely rely on other results going their way, and it’s hard to see where those wins are going to come from.
I can’t see them beating the Sea Eagles, or the Warriors over in New Zealand, while the Dragons are in good form. They may have a slight chance against the Cowboys, Roosters and Bulldogs, but would have to show more in those games than they have all season.
To put it bluntly I’d be surprised if they win another game, as their remaining six opponents are either in the top eight, or fighting for a top eight spot, and have the players to get their team over the line.
Don’t worry Titans fans, they are unlikely to win the wooden spoon, but it looks like a bottom 4 finish is looming.
