The St George Illawarra Dragons have secured the services of New Zealand Warriors centre Dane Nielson for the next two seasons, after the Auckland-based club granted him a release.
The 29-year-old has played 109 National Rugby League games since making his debut for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in 2007. He played for the Melbourne Storm from 2008-2012 and spent 2013 and 2014 with the Warriors.
Nielson is an experienced player who can play in the centres and on the wing, and represented the Queensland Maroons in 2011 and 2012 as well as the indigenous All Stars in 2012.
Dragons coach Paul McGregor hailed Nielson and believed he would add great value and experience to his team in 2015
