New title sponsors and betting firm Ladbrokes have named last year’s Super League Grand Finalists St Helens and Wigan Warriors as joint favourites to lift the trophy at Wembley Stadium in August.
Both sides are priced at 4/1, with last season’s winners Leeds Rhinos fourth favourites at 5/1 to retain the Cup.
Warrington Wolves have lifted the famous trophy three times in the last six years and are 9/2 for success in 2015.
Last year’s runners-up Castleford Tigers are priced at 25/1 to go one step better this campaign, meanwhile Salford Red Devils are looking to win the competition for the first time since 1938 and are valued at 14/1.
The first round of the draw was made on Wednesday, with the 40 amateur sides all priced as 10 000/1 rank outsiders.
A few sides in the Kingstone Press Championship will be looking to cause an upset in the competition this season. Bradford Bulls can be backed at 150/1, with London Broncos and Leigh Centurions both available at 250/1.
The Challenge Cup final will take place on Saturday August 29 at Wembley Stadium.
