Chris Sandow has completed a stunning turnaround in his career and will lead Parramatta in their Nines campaign next weekend.

Sandow was on the outer after being axed to NSW Cup in 2013.  He was back in favour with Brad Arthur early last season and never looked back.  This is the final year of Sandow’s contract with the Eels and will need to produce if he’s any chance of staying with the club.

This tournament will see Reece Robinson debut for the club after an off-season transfer from Canberra.  Brad Takairangi will also make his first appearance in blue and yellow following his move from the Titans.

The Eels could go a fair way in the Nines with strike power out wide with Will Hopoate and Semi Radradra named in the Eels squad.

Parramatta play in the opening Nines match against Manly.  Newcastle and St George-Illawarra are their other opponents in the group stage of the tournament.

The side is:

1. Will Hopoate
2. Semi Radradra
3. John Folau
4. Brad Takairangi
5. Reece Robinson
6. Corey Norman
7. Chris Sandow (c)
8. Junior Paulo
9. Kaysa Pritchard
10. Peni Terepo
11. Manu Ma’u
12. Tepai Moeroa
13. Joseph Paulo
14. David Gower
15. Kenny Edwards
16. Halauafu Lavaka
17. Pauli Pauli
18. Luke Kelly
