The team at nothingbutleague are saddened to hear the of passing of a young aspiring writer who contributed to our site.

Adam Cunliffe was part of our team from late last year and wrote for us during the Super League finals series and Four Nations tournament.

Dan Fowler remembers Adam as a likable chap.

“A proud Everton and Wigan Warriors fan, even following him on Twitter you could tell his passion for them both was beyond comprehension.”

“He also had a brilliant knack of writing, and writing some bloody good articles. He made you want to read on, and on, and on, there’s not many professional writers who manage that.”

“I know he’ll be eagerly waiting for the Super League season to start, and what better way for it to start than a Wigan win? I’ll be hoping that’s how it goes, just for Adam. RIP mate, have a pint or two up there for me.”

Sean Hayes paid tribute to Adam.

“He was always a talented writer who always had a great view of the game of rugby league. My thoughts are with his family and friends at this tragic time, Rest In Peace Adam, you will be missed”

Matt Pritchard is shocked to hear of the news.

“Adam was always keen to learn about the National Rugby League and my team the Panthers.  To wake up to the news is incredibly sad for someone so young”

On behalf of all the writers at nothingbutleague we send our condolences to the family and friends of the late Adam Culiffe, gone too soon.
