Pepper Stadium is the new ground name for the Penrith Panthers after they signed a deal with the finance group.
This replaces the previous sponsor SportingBet who held the naming rights for last season. They took over from another gambling company, Centrebet after their three year deal ended.
In an official statement from the club, Penrith District Rugby League CEO Justin Pascoe welcomed Pepper Group to the Panthers.
“We are excited to be joining forces with another truly global partner. The Pepper Group offers diverse financial solutions that will add value to not only our membership base across the whole Panthers group, but also the whole western Sydney region.
“This strategic partnership is again testament to the current strength of the Panthers brand and our ability to attract quality businesses across all levels. We are looking forward to working very closely with the team at Pepper to deliver mutual value against the agreed objectives”.
Penrith’s first home game for 2015 will be against the Canterbury Bulldogs on March 8 at 4pm.
