The draw for the last eight of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup was made in the aftermath of Leigh Centurions 36-30 triumph over Wakefield Wildcats, as for the second round in a row they dumped out Super League opposition.

They were rewarded for their heroics with a trip to Warrington in the quarter-finals as Tony Smith’s men eased to a 52-10 victory over Dewsbury Rams.

Wigan Warriors were also on the wrong end of a shock result as Hull KR defeated them at the DW Stadium 16-12 on Friday night.

Tony Barrow and Neil Fox MBE drew the teams at Bell Vue.
