Kingstone Press Championship Round 18 – London Broncos 34-12 Hunslet Hawks

London’s resurgence continued at the weekend when they overcame Hunslet at The Hive. However, the scores were locked at 12-12 after 40 minutes so it was more than all to play for in the second period. Elliot Kear and Wes Naiqama both touched down for London, Hunslet’s scorers were Matty Gee and Robbie Ward. The class of the full-time hosts did show in the end as they racked up four tries to go with their two in the first half. Oscar Thomas found his way to the line on 51 minutes before Naiqama kicked a penalty goal to give the Broncos a two score advanatage. Naiqama was in the thick of the action, and he completed his hat-trick with two tries in five second half minutes to seal the spoils. Rhys Williams finished the game off with a customary try, the winger has settled in well at the Broncos since he moved there in the off-season.

Prediction – London by 16
