MATCH REPORT: 

If you were in doubt about Cowboys making a grand final appearance, their performance on Saturday night would definitely change your mind.

The Gold Coast titans started off well being the first to score in the z6th and 10 minute. They had the lead 12-0 for the first fifteen minutes.

Gold Coast definitely had control and gave the Cowboys a run for their money until Ray Thompson went over the try line in the 16th minute.

Cowboys were quick to turn their luck around by sending it to the left side as Kane Linnett was next to cross for the Cowboys, Johnathan Thurston successfully converted and levelled the score in the 26th minute.

In the next set of six Cowboys Antonio Winterstein scored in the corner for his team.

The Titans had gone quiet and were defending their goal line desperately attempting to keep it a close game.

With a nail-biting second half on our hands the Cowboys came out and gave the home crowd, 16,977 fans something to cheer about.

Lachlan Coote had a very strong start to the second half after going through the soft defence scoring in the 43rd minute for the Cowboys.

Gavin Cooper (62nd minute), Antonio Winterstein (67th minute), Jake Granville (70th minute), James Tamou (73rd minute) and Kane Linnett (77th minute) were the next ones through to score for the Cowboys to show off a very powerful performance against the Titans.
The Cowboys kept the Titans scoreless in the second half, they impressed with defence and attack even with their key halfback, Johnathan Thurston having a rest for the last 10 minutes on the sideline. Unfortunately the Cowboys couldn’t reach the 50 mark due to unsuccessful conversion.

Cowboys raced home with the exceptional campaign to kick off a week before finals beating the Titans 42-12.
