Despite playing far from their best, London Broncos kept up their top four aspirations with a good win over a definite rival. Featherstone were 12-4 up at the interval despite scoring three tries. None of the tries were converted by Kyle Briggs. Jordan Baldwinson and John Davies both scored tries within six minutes of each other before London got on the board after 24 minutes courtesy of Rhys Williams. The conversion was no good from the Broncos either as both sides had trouble from the tee. A minute before the break came a big score for Featherstone thanks to Danny Craven. Even though the try wasn’t converted, the Rovers still had a two score lead heading into the second half. Three tries in the final quarter for the Broncos snatched the game away from their opponents. Ben Hellewell scored twice and Alex Foster also notched for the capital side. With five minutes to go, London suddenly had a 20-12 lead and frustration started to get the better of Featherstone. Ian Hardman was sin-binned in the dying embers and that signalled game over for the visitors who couldn’t break through the Broncos defence.
