Swinton Lions 16-42 London Broncos

London Broncos were 42-16 winners at Heywood Road on Sunday afternoon as Andrew Henderson’s side kept up their great run of form. The visitors were 20 points up at half-time after scoring four converted tries, while Swinton could only muster a lone score. Daniel Harrison, Nick Slyney, Mark Offerdahl and Api Pewhairangi were the try-scorers for London in the first half. Shaun Robinson bagged the final try of the half as the hosts got off the mark for the contest. Macauley Hallett registered a converted try after the break to make the score 24-10 to the visitors, who ended up taking charge for the remainder of the match. Slyney, Ben Hellewell and Pewhairangi rounded off a good performance by the capital side as the trio all crossed the chalk before Swinton scored a consolation in the last minute thanks to Rob Lever.
