Intrust Super P’ship NSW Previews

Wests Tigers v Mounties
Campbelltown Sports Stadium, Saturday 30 July
Broadcast LIVE on Fox Sports

Mounties coach Stephen Antonelli isn’t having a bar of his side being branded the Intrust Super Premiership NSW title favourites. He hates the tag.

“I’m not a fan of being labelled favourites,” Antonelli tells

“I think we’re underdogs going into this week’s game.

“I don’t think many teams respect us – no-one talks about us… it’s how I like it.

“I like to earn respect – I like us playing like that.”

Despite sitting in first position on the ladder, Antonelli insists the fourth-placed Wests Tigers deserve favouritism entering this week’s clash. But he’s not treating NSW VB Blues Origin hooker Robbie Farah any differently.

“[We’ve got to treat him] like just another face,” he says.

“If you make a big song and dance about him, someone else like Justin Hunt or Jack Littlejohn will stand up and tear us to pieces.”
