Dragons lock Jack de Belin is in danger of missing his side’s Round 16 clash with the Knights, charged by the NRL match review committee for a challenge on Eels forward Kenny Edwards.
De Belin was slapped with a grade one dangerous contact (head/neck) charge in St George Illawarra’s loss to Parramatta, and with 25 carryover points and 50 per cent loading from a similar offence in the past two years would miss one match even with an early guilty plea.
If de Belin was to challenge the charge at the judiciary and was found guilty, he’d still miss just one game but would be left with 75 carryover points.
