Whitehaven RL are delighted to announce the re-signing of Loose Forward Karl Olstrum. Karl has signed a one year extension to wear the Chocolate, Blue & Gold for the 2018 season.
The forward who made 10 appearances for his hometown club last year after nearly a decade of service at Workington Town. He crossed twice in Haven colours in 2017.
Head coach Carl Forster said “We’re happy to retain Karl for another 12 months. At the end of the season we got the best out of him and we’re looking forward to having that kind of player for the full season next year. His ability is unreal and we’re confident he can be a big part of our success next season.”
He is the thirteenth player to sign on for the 2018 season after Jordan Burns was announced at the clubs presentation night last Saturday Night. Burns made 27 appearances in 2017 scoring 14 tries.
