Hull Kingston Rovers can confirm that hooker Zach Dockar-Clay has been released from his contract with the club and has agreed to join Townsville Blackhawks for 2018.
Dockar-Clay made 19 appearances for the Robins last season, scoring six tries, and leaves with the club’s best wishes for the future after taking up a one-year contract with the Queensland Intrust Super Cup outfit.
His departure provides an additional quota spot to be utilised by head coach Tim Sheens for the club’s return to the Betfred Super League next season.
