PREVIEW

Having been rearrange to Sunday due to adverse weather conditions, the game will take place after the help of volunteers to clear the pitch of snow. Wakefield have got their season off to a perfect start and look to be title contenders this time round. They have, however, only played three teams from the bottom four of the Super League. In Huddersfield, they now play another team in the bottom four, with only one win in three games. By contrast, Huddersfield have played three potential title contenders in their opening three games: Hull FC, Warrington, and St Helens.

Wakefield’s fixture this season have typically been low scoring, while Huddersfield have had a mixture of points tally’s. On Sunday, however, it looks as though its going to be a low-scorer considering the weather conditions. Nevertheless, it looks a cracker as Wakefield looked to have weakened and rotated their side with Justin Horo, Reece Lyne, and Kyle Wood all dropping out, and Huddersfield naming pretty much the same squad that has been improving with every game this season.

Wakefield have showed a marked difference in their attitude this season and now boast one of the best defences in Super League. As a result, the conditions will probably suit them and although it should be tight, they should make it four from four this Sunday. If Huddersfield field are to win, they need to emulate their opponents and improve considerably in defence having only held Warrington to be.low 25 points so far, a side that struggles to score lots of points in general.
