Wests Tigers enter Friday night’s clash on the back of a 30 point hammering of the Titans and are playing their 3rd game in 12 days. Although the win was a confidence boost for the Tigers, they come up against a much better opposition this week in the Rabbitohs.
As always, Sam Burgess and Greg Inglis will be the key players for the Rabbitohs who are coming off a close loss to the Manly-WarringahSea Eagles at Central Coast Stadium.
If the Wests Tigers are to cause an upset it will be on the back of a great defensive performance and contributions from all 17 players as we saw on Sunday. The Rabbitohs will be looking to make amends for their dissapointing performance in round two and have a number of players in doubt for the match.
The Tigers will be boosted by the return of Liam Fulton after missing one match and also welcome back boom centre Tim Simona who successfully returned last weekend in the NSW Cup after off season shoulder surgery. Simona will replace Chris Lawrence who will miss 1-2 weeks with a hamstring strain. After successful returns from injury, Keith Galloway and David Nofoaluma have been named in the starting side this week.
