Two teams with plenty to play for in the first match at WIN Jubilee Oval, Kogarah in 2014. The Dragons are coming of their third straight loss, albeit in highly controversial circumstances (the NRL today released a statement saying the referees should have called full time before the last Melbourne Storm try was scored) while the Warriors have been very disappointing, recording just two wins from their opening six games.

The home side will be sweating on the fitness of Dylan Farrell, who suffered a shoulder injury in round six, but have named him in the side, while Mitch Rein and Joel Thompson will need to be cleared by the NRL judiciary before they can take their place. The Warriors have again dropped centre Konrad Hurrell, replaced by Ngani Laumape and have added Ben Henry, Jason Bukuya and David Fusitua to their squad.

The Warriors haven’t played at WIN Jubilee Oval since round 22, 2003, when current skipper Ben Creagh lined up on the wing in jersey 22! The Dragons struggled at WIN Jubilee Oval last season winning just once in five matches and need to make the famous ground a fortress again. They will take plenty of confidence into the game and need to focus on putting teams away after leading the Storm 24-10 at one stage last week. The Warriors need to play smart and not try to force their hand and they will provide a real rest for the Dragons.
