The St George Illawarrra Dragons’ late surge towards a finals place continues this week when they host the Gold Coast Titans at WIN Jubilee Oval Kogarah.

The Dragons will wear a special members jersey to thank their members for their support throughout the year and what better way to thank them than by thumping the Titans and keeping their season alive.

Dragons skipper Ben Creagh hasn’t been named after succumbing to a hamstring injury prior to last week’s victory over the Raiders, but he could be a late inclusion. If not, winger Brett Morris will again lead the side and will be hoping for a similar individual performance to his three-try effort against the Raiders.

The Titans tried hard last week against the Sea Eagles but were ultimately outclassed in a 15-12 loss. Centre James Roberts was a constant threat down the Titans’ right edge and his battle with Dragons centre Peter Mata’utia will be one to watch.

The Dragons just need to keep winning and if they can’t beat the 13th-placed Titans, they don’t deserve to play finals football anyway, so look for them to make it two wins in a row.
