Clark Named Man of Steel
Castleford hooker Daryl Clark has been named the 2014 Steve Prescott Man of Steel at the annual Super League end of season awards dinner.
Clark, who will join Warrington Wolves in 2015, has impressed this season scoring 16 tries and beat off competition from James Roby, Chris Hill and Jamie Peacock to collect the award. His performances have impressed England head coach Steve McNamara who has named the youngster in his 24 man England squad for this Autumn’s four nations series.
Clark was also awarded the young player of the year award, and his Tigers coach Daryl Powell was presented with the coach of the year accolade.
