2015 Key Signings: Gold Coast Titans
Here’s our look at the 2015 Key Signings for Gold Coast Titans. The Titans will be hoping that discarded players from both north and south of the Tweed will bring the club success after a miserable 2014.
1. Josh Hoffman
With the signing of Darius Boyd at the Broncos it was quite clear that Hoffman was on the outer. Neil Henry could play him in any position in the backline. Fullback would be the obvious choice but you would expect Will Zillman to play in the one jumper. It’s quite likely that he will be paired with Aiden Sezer in the halves at the start of the season. An opportunity to make a better fist at five-eighth after he struggled at Red Hill to perform in that role.
2. Kierran Moseley
Kierran Moseley has only one National Rugby League match under his belt but he’s a future star of our game. Squeezed out of Penrith at the end of this season, the twenty year old moves back to his home state and is a handy backup for Beau Falloon at hooker. He plays with plenty of energy and was part of the Panthers successful Under 20’s premiership in 2013. He might be the X-Factor the club is looking for in order to get the forward pack moving in the right direction.
3. Matt Robinson
Matt Robinson moves to the Gold Coast after a three year stint at the Panthers. He was limited to nine appearances in 2014 and suffered a serious neck injury in 2013 that disrupted his season. He has a good work-rate and will provide the Titans with plenty of value over the next two seasons. Robinson will have big shoes to fill with the departure of Ashley Harrison and Mark Minichiello in the back row. Regular top grade football beckons of the twenty-four year old.
