Preview

The North Queensland Cowboys will host the Cronulla Sharks on Saturday afternoon, 5:30pm (AEST).

The Cowboys will be looking to maintain their winning streak and make it 12 wins in a row. With the absence of halfback and playmaker Johnathan Thurston, will have a huge impact on the game. Michael Morgan taking his place will be determined to redeem himself after a poor performance in Origin II.

Rory Kostjasyn joins the Cowboys as five eighth with Cameron King coming onto the bench with Patrick Kaufusi who replaces Sam Hoare.

Cowboys Fullback Lachlan Coote is the danger man to watch as he has made a large impact to the team through the season. He is fearless behind the ball and has impressive kick returns. Antonio Winterstein and Coote form brilliant defense at the back and get pressure sets moving.

The Cronulla Sharks have also had a good winning streak, winning 2 of their last matches. The Sharks have an unchanged side except Paul Gallen being named as 18th man. Josh Jackson faces suspension this week and Jack Bird will be the one to look out for especially after last weekend on his two-try effort. Valentine Holmes has also been playing well for the Sharks and will be looking to assist his team to victory against the unbeatable team (Cowboys).

Prediction Will be close but North Queensland too good in front of a home crowd, Cowboys by 6
