Preview
The West Tigers will host the Gold Coast Titans at home, Leichhardt Oval, on Friday night.
The West Tigers and Gold Coast Tigers last met in round 1 this season and the Tigers will be looking to repeat the results, after beating Gold Coast by one point.
West Tigers Prop Aaron Woods will step in as Captain for the injured Robbie Farah. Keith Galloway and David Nofoaluma will return to the side.
The West Tigers have had an extra week to prepare after having a bye in round 12.
Pat Richards and Luke Brooks will be the players to watch for the West Tigers as they will be looking to impress especially in front of a home crowd.
With the news of Nate Myles signing with Manly for the 2016 will have some effect on the players as he demonstrates leadership throughout the Gold Coast Titans team which will surely be missed. After finding out the news of Manly’s halfback Daly Cherry Evans, signing a lifelong contract with the Sea Eagles might also have an impact on how the players perform. In particular, the coach Neil Henry might feel a larger amount of pressure on himself, after finding out the news of losing Manly’s halfback for next year.
The players coming to terms of missing out on Daly Cherry Evan’s signing will be illustrated throughout the game and they will be hopeful in remaining positive and getting the job done.
The Titans will be determined to keep their final’s hopes alive after losing to Rabbitohs at home by six points. The Titans need to win at least two of the next three games to keep their final dreams alive.
Young guns Daniel Mortimer and Kane Elgey will be the players to watch for the Gold Coast Titans as they will be adamant with leading their team to victory.
