The St George Illawarra Dragons have signed Parramatta Eels fullback Justin Hunt to a one year deal, just weeks after former Dragon Adam Quinlan linked with the Eels.
The Dragons are currently in England preparing for their World Club Series match against the Warrington Wolves on February 20, and Hunt’s signing gives the club added depth heading into the 2015 season.
Hunt played for both the Eels and Wests Tigers at National Youth Competition level in 2008, and played for the North Sydney Bears VB NSW Cup side in 2009. He then moved to Queensland and spent 2010 with the Mackay Cutters and 2011 with the Redcliffe Dolphins in the Intrust Super Cup.
He made his National Rugby League debut for the South Sydney Rabbitohs during the 2012 season, spending two seasons at the club and making 13 appearances, before switching to the Eels for the 2014 season where he made just one appearance.
