The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have easily accounted for the Parramatta Eels at ANZ Stadium tonight, winning a one-sided contest 32-12.

Brett Morris, Sam Perrett and Curtis Rona scored doubles as the Bulldogs led 8-4 at halftime and ran away with it, scoring 24 second half points.

To make matters worse for the Eels, Chris Sandow, Anthony Watmough and Semi Radradra suffered injuries, with Radradra unable to take part in the second half.

The Bulldogs opened the scoring with an unconverted try to winger Curtis Rona in the 11th minute, before Brett Morris made it 8-0 with a neat individual effort after 20 minutes.

The Eels posted their first points six minutes from half time when a long cut-out pass by five eighth Corey Norman found Semi Radradra who scored his 4th try of 2015. Robinson couldn’t add the extras and the Bulldogs led 8-4 at the break.

Despite the absence of Radradra, the Eels scored in the 42nd minute through Manu M’au. He added a second try minutes later after a Brett Morris error and the Eels enjoyed a 12-8 lead, with all tries unconverted.

The Bulldogs hit back through Sam Perrett in the 50th minute when centre Tim Lafai showed great strength and agility to draw in the defence before finding the veteran winger to score. Hodkinson added the extras and the Bulldogs hit the lead 14-12.

A bizarre try to Perrett in the 56th minute saw his side push further in front.

A Bulldogs bomb was hoisted high in the air and Brett Morris tapped it back to Greg Eastwood. The big forward put in a grubber which the Eels failed to deal with, handing Perrett the simple task of planting the ball down under the posts. Hodkinson’s conversion made it 20-12.

A nice inside pass found a flying Brett Morris in the 72nd minute and he tore through the Eels’ defence from close range to score under the posts. Hodkinson made no mistake and his side looked to have iced the game, and they led 26-12.

Rona’s second try in the 79th minute ensured a great victory for the Bulldogs, and to add insult to injury, Hodkinson nailed the sideline conversion to heap more misery on the Eels.
