Sunshine Coast Falcons v Wynnum Manly Seagulls at Pinklands Sporting Complex, Thornlands on Saturday, – 5pm
The Intrust Super Cup comes to Thornlands this weekend as the Sunshine Coast take their home game to a location much closer to their rivals than their own side.
The Sunshine Coast Falcons added a second win for 2015 last weekend against the Tweed Heads Seagulls last Sunday, confirming that the first against PNG was no fluke, and doubling their win tally from 2014 in the process.
Wynnum put in a complete performance on Sunday afternoon in front of the TV cameras as they easily beat the PNG Hunters at Kougari Oval. Their tally of four wins has them equal with neighbours, and they have their usual line up ready to go against the Falcons.
Wynnum should be too strong on paper, and the odds confirm that, but the Sunshine Coast have been quite competitive at home this year and an upset wouldn’t surprise.
