The Canberra Raiders will host the Brisbane Broncos at GIO Stadium on Saturday afternoon, 5:30pm AEST.

It should be a great contest between two great sides, Broncos being second on the ladder to play Canberra who are ninth on the ladder.

The Canberra Raiders will be looking to redeem themselves after just missing out on a win in round 11. Losing to the Bulldogs in a close game, Blake Austin and Jarrod Croker will be looking to maintain their momentum and lead their team to victory.

Blake Austin, Canberra’s danger man will be one to watch as he will lifted with the inclusion of Jack Wighton at the back. These two are capable of working really well together, which will be on the Bronco’s mind. A positive sign for the Raiders as they have won four from five with the addition of Williams to the side.

Six players will make a return to the Broncos side following Origin duties; Darius Boyd, Justin Hodges, Josh McGuire, Sam Thaiday, Matt Gillett and Corey Parker. They will be looking to dominate for their club team, post Origin win.

Ben Hunt and Sam Williams are the players to watch, both halfbacks will be looking to impress with their ball running skills to assist lead their team to victory.

Both teams will be hoping to secure the win.

Last time they met was in round 13 last year, Broncos defeated Raiders 28-4.

Current sporting odds are in favour of Canberra Raides $1.80 to Brisbane Broncos who are sitting at $2.00.


Prediction: Raiders to win by 12
