Kingstone Press Round 18 Match Preview – Leigh Centurions V Sheffield Eagles

Leigh will be looking for the perfect performance after just scraping Batley last weekend and the Eagles will be looking to improve on their performance despite the victory against Whitehaven last time out.

Last time out
Leigh travelled to Batley and grabbed victory despite being down to 12 men when scoring the three tries which one them the game, being down 12-10 after the hour mark. A brace from Adam Higson and a try from Jake Emmitt wrapped up victory against the Bulldogs.

The Eagles had a 26-16 victory against Whitehaven despite letting a 12 point lead slip after half time. A Misi Taulapapa try 8 minutes before the hooter secured the victory for the well travelled side.

Key battle
You could look at any where in these two sides for a key battle but the kick returns could be crucial and therefore Gregg McNally for Leigh and QLT for the Eagles will have to be on top form for their side to get anything from these games.
