Coming off the back of their first win since the summer bash at Blackpool, Town will be looking to start a run to try and guarantee them safety against A London side who will be looking to bounce back after defeat against Dewsbury who were down to 12 men for 60 minutes.
Last time out
Workington travelled the short distance to Whitehaven and recorded their third consecutive victory over their West Cumbrian rivals. Elliot Miller starred scoring a hat-rick. Jarrod Sammut and Iain Thornley also got themselves on the scoresheet.
London travelled to Dewsbury and despite being 12-0 down early on, they looked to be in pole position when Dewsbury were down to 12 men after Ryan Fieldhouse was sent off in the 20th minute. But after heroic defending at times by the Rams they ran out 24-12 winners much to the dismay of London player/head coach Andrew Henderson.
The signing of Jarrod Sammut for Town could be one of the best Championship signings for many years. The battle between him and Oscar Thomas will rely on the weather allowing the packs to run as hard as they can, but both have individual skills which mean they can a huge impact on their own if needed.
Prediction – Town will have confidence after their performance last week but London will be hoping to bounce back. – London by 14
