Shaun Kenny-Dowall charged by police

Sydney Roosters and Kiwi International Shaun Kenny-Dowall has been charged with a number of domestic violence offences as reported by News Limited this afternoon.

They are reporting the twenty-seven year old police charges include assault which is believed to be on Jessica Perris, the daughter of former Australian Olympian and current Labor Senator Nova Perris.

It was only yesterday the Sydney Roosters club issued a brief statement saying, “As it is a police matter, the club will be making no further comment at this time. ”  This was after it came to light that Kenny-Dowall had an AVO taken out against him by Perris.

At this stage the National Rugby League have will not stop Kenny-Dowall from playing against the New Zealand Warriors at Allianz Stadium on Sunday.
