Mounties and Townsville Blackhawks have taken out their respective state competitions for 2015.

Mounties won the VB NSW Cup minor premiership by the slightest of margins, one point differential to runners up Wyong Roos.  Penrith were the third team tied on thirty-six points at the end of the twenty-five rounds but well behind on points difference.  New Zealand Warriors, Canterbury Bulldogs, Manly Sea Eagles, Newcastle Knights and North Sydney Bears completed the top eight.  Parramatta feeder club Wenty Magpies were the wooden spooners after recording only six premiership wins.

Saturday September 5: Wyong (2) vs Penrith Panthers (3), 12.40 pm, Pepper Stadium
Saturday September 5: Mounties (1) vs NZ Warriors (4), 2.00 pm, Belmore Sports Ground
Saturday September 5: Manly Sea Eagles (6) vs Newcastle Knights (7), 4.00 pm, Belmore Sports Ground
Saturday September 5: Canterbury Bulldogs (5) vs North Sydney Bears (8), 6.00 pm, Belmore Sports Ground

The Grand Final to be played on Sunday, September 27 at Pirtek Stadium at 4pm AEST.

In their inaugural season competing in the Intrust Super Cup, Townsville Blackhawks have thrashed Redcliffe Dolphins this afternoon to take out the minor premiership.  PNG Hunters capped off a wonderful season as runners up.  The top six well decided before the final round of the season with Chris and Ben Walker coached Ipswich Jets coming in third ahead of Wynnum Seagulls, Easts Tigers and Mackay Cutters.  Another tough year for Central Queensland Capras having only notched one victory in 2015.

The Grand Final to be played on Sunday, September 27 at Suncorp Stadium at 3:55pm AEST.
