New South Wales State of Origin Team Announcement

The two teams that will face off in the 2016 State of Origin Game 1 at ANZ Stadium have been announced.

New South Wales has announced a fresh-looking, 19-man squad in response to the series loss in 2015.

Moylan, Mansour, Reynolds, Walker, and Frizell make their debut in the squad.

Positions for the NSW team have not been named to keep Queensland guessing.

The Queensland team is yet to be officially confirmed, but the team has been ‘leaked’ by several publications this morning.

The supposed team is similar to previous years with two debutants, Oates and O’Neill.

Queensland had limited players to choose from after imposing bans for 2016 on several rising stars.
