Bradford Bulls ran riot against Sheffield Eagles at the Provident Stadium as the West Yorkshire club won 80-0. Kieren Moss and Ross Oakes were the stars of the show for Bradford, with the former scoring four tries and the latter, on home debut, notching a hat-trick. The hosts were 16-0 up after as many minutes thanks to tries from Lewis Charnock, Dane Chisholm and Tom Olbison. Moss, Ethan Ryan and Jay Pitts all got on the scoresheet before half-time, with the Bulls eyeing up a big total.
After the restart, Chisholm doubled his tally for the afternoon on 48 minutes before Oakes completed a quick-fire hat-trick. Tries in the 58th, 61st and 66th minute brought Bradford to 50 points while Oakes gave himself a day to remember in the process. Moss scored three tries of his own in the second half but he only managed to do it in the space of 11 minutes. In-between the full back’s rampage on the Eagles try-line, Ryan crossed the whitewash before Adam Sidlow marked his 100th appearance for the Bulls with a try and a conversion.
