Kangaroos veteran Sam Thiaday took to social media late Tuesday afternoon to air his frustration over missing selection in the Kangaroos Rugby League World Cup squad.
Thaiday debut for Australia in 2006 against New Zealand as part of the Kangaroos Tri-Nations team. Sam’s last Test Match was back in May when the Kangaroos defeated the Kiwis 30-12 in front of 18,535 fans in Canberra.
“Who would have thought this would be the last time I played for both QLD and Australia,” Sam wrote.
Thaiday went on to write, “After dedicating more than 10 years wearing the Maroons and Green and Gold jersey, you’d expect to be treated with a bit more decency and respect”.
