Leeds Rhinos vs Salford Red Devils (Friday, 7:45 pm)
Leed’s win over London last weekend came just at the right time. Facing a Salford side on fire this week, it isn’t time to relax for the Rhinos but the pressure is certainly lifted.
Salford’s win over Warrington last week showed they could be the real deal and give the usual suspects some problems in the play-offs. Keeping that momentum will be key.
Prediction: Leeds 14-28 Salford
St. Helens vs Huddersfield Giants (Friday, 7:45 pm)
For St. Helens the next two weeks is about getting the feel-good factor back into their game. This play-off series is vital to confirm their dominance and credentials as the best team in the country.
The pressure is still on Simon Woolford’s side despite last week’s win over Hull FC. A win at St. Helens will be tough but a solid performance is equally as important.
Prediction: St. Helens 26-12 Huddersfield Giants
Warrington Wolves vs Wakefield Trinity (Friday, 7:45 pm)
The cup final headache should have passed now for the Wolves, and last week’s defeat to Salford will be long gone in the memory. Second spot and a double still in eyesight, Steve Price’s men will be focused again.
Wakefield join Huddersfield in the boat of could still be in trouble but have the quality players to survive. Chris Chester’s men need to avoid thinking a final game against London is their best shot.
Prediction: Warrington 32-16 Wakefield
