Ten Defining Moments of Super League in the 2010’s

As we head into 2020, let’s take a look back at ten of the most defining moments from the past decade that Super League has given to us.

Rob Burrow’s Grand Final Brilliance (2011)

He might have been the smallest player on the pitch, but for what he lacks in height, Rob Burrow certainly made up for in quality, in the 2011 Super League Grand Final. The diminutive half-back jinked his way past five St Helens players, after receiving the ball on half way, before going over for the first try of the match to score one of the great Grand Final tries. That effort set Leeds on their way to a 32-16 success with Burrow winning Man of the Match, becoming the first person to claim the Harry Sunderland Trophy on two separate occasions.
