Match Preview

Saints return to Super League action against Warrington at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Thursday night after their scheduled round nine clash with Leeds Rhinos was cancelled due to a Covid outbreak at the Yorkshire club. A win could see the reigning champions return to the top of the table whilst Wire will leapfrog the Merseyside club should they claim a fourth successive win against their opponents.

Kristian Woolf names the same 21-man squad that beat Hull FC in the Challenge Cup semi-final almost a fortnight ago with Agnatius Paasi expected to start after missing out on the last matchday squad with a slight hamstring injury.

The Wolves also name an unchanged squad after easing past Wakefield last time out with skipper Jack Hughes in-line to make his 150th appearance for the club.

Prediction

St Helens by one point.
