Warrington centre Bryson Goodwin hopes that he can use the experiences from his NRL glory in 2014 with South Sydney to guide the Wolves to Super League glory.

The 32-year old was part of the Rabbitohsโ€™ squad that clinched Premiership success for the first time in 41 years.

Goodwin, who made 99 appearances for Souths, now believes that he must to draw on those experiences throughout the big games in 2018.

โ€œItโ€™d be silly not to,โ€ he said. โ€œIf youโ€™ve learnt from things, you might as well use them to your benefit, but Iโ€™ll keep wanting to learn new things over here and try to get better.

โ€œI think itโ€™s part of our squad culture that everyone learns off everyone. I like to learn off some of the younger players; they bring something new. If they need help, then Iโ€™m certainly there to offer some advice to them.โ€

Goodwin spent ten years in the NRL, playing for Cronulla, Canterbury and South Sydney, before deciding to make the move over to the UK for the start of 2018.

Since then, the Australian has gone on to score two tries in Wolves colours, with Steve Priceโ€™s side sitting third in the Betfred Super League table so far.

Goodwin admits that he didnโ€™t know an awful lot about Super League prior to his arrival, but is looking forward to showing what he can do ahead of a series of big fixtures for the Wire.

โ€œI knew a little bit, not a lot. We get a fair bit of coverage over in Australia, so I used to watch it a fair bit,โ€ said Goodwin. โ€œWhen I signed, I started watching a little more to try and take it all in.

โ€œThe Australian game seems a lot more structured, concentrating on the wrestle on the floor a lot more, whereas in Super League you get the free play after a mistake. Thereโ€™s a lot more throwing the ball around over here, so weโ€™ll have to wait and see [what I can produce].”
