6. Jack Wighton (2012-current: 158 games, 47 tries, 188 points)

Once a pariah for his off-field problems and on-field unreliability at fullback, Wighton reinvented himself at five-eighth in 2019. Yes, he made mistakes (especially with some wayward kicks), but he quickly redeemed himself with a crucial play. He played all three Origins for NSW, made his Test debut for Australia, and was a worthy Clive Churchill Medal winner. Based on his form in the first two games of 2020, he looked set for another big year.
