The Manly Sea Eagles have massacred the Parramatta Eels 54-0 in blazing hot conditions at Lottoland.

The match was hit with a 40-degree day and the team to capitaliseย early would run away with the win. The Sea Eagles with three tries in the opening 12 minutes had put the Eels defence in all sorts of trouble with fatigue setting in, the Manly side then continued the pressure making the scoreline 30-0 at the halftime break. CHERRY-EVANS MASTERCLASS
The halfback for the Sea Eagles put on a clinical display in front of the home crowd throughout the match with an early try taking on the line to open the scoring. The number seven was dominant, producing a 40/20 after points while pinning the Eels side in their end for a number of forced goal-line dropouts. Cherry-Evans produced a masterclass that controlled the fixture from the opening stages right until the final whistle while adding to his credentials as one of the games best converting 9/10 kicks throughout the afternoon.
EARLY TROUBLE FOR EELS
The signs for the Parramatta side were ominous with their forwards being dominated and being forced to giveย 10-metre line and ill-disciplinaryย penalties allowing multiple sets of attack to their opposition. The second half the side stopped the flow of points from the Sea Eagles but earlier damage and fatigue setting in the errors continued to plague the blue and gold team allowing more points for the home team to win.
