Round 26 Interesting Stats

Penrith have won 25 of their past 26 home games versus Sydney clubs.

St George have lost all their away games this season and can seal the 0% for the season with a loss on Friday in Auckland. Dragons have also lost ten in a row away to non-Sydney teams. And while we’re picking on them, have won just four of their last 30 away games on a Friday going back to 2011.

Cowboys have won just one of their last 14 away games on a Friday. And one in their last ten on a Friday away to Queensland sides.

Going back to 2012, the Roosters have won 16 of their last 17 versus Wests Tigers.

Canberra have won four of their last five games versus Brisbane including their last three home games.

Brisbane have the best away record this season with ten wins from 11 games.

Brisbane have won nine of ten games on a Saturday this season. Their 90% record is the competition’s best.

Bulldogs have won four of their five home games versus Manly on a Sunday since 1998.

Newcastle have won all eight games on a Sunday this season.

Cronulla have won on their last five visits to Newcastle on a Sunday. The Knights last win over Cronulla on a Sunday at home was in 2014.
