Players To Watch in Super League 2018
Not long to go now Super League fans. In just four days, Warrington and Leeds will run out onto the Halliwell Jones Stadium turf to kick off the 23rd edition of Super League.
Whether it be experienced heads wanting to have a consistent season, or a young gun trying to make 2018 their breakthrough year, there are certainly lots of players to look out for this year.
Take a look below at our 12 players to watch in this year’s competition, all explained in 30 words!
Castleford Tigers- Garry Lo
Record of 50 tries in 46 games for Sheffield absolutely phenomenal. Competing with Minikin and Eden for wing spots; expect the PNG international to grab any opportunity with both hands.
Catalans Dragons- Fouad Yaha
Made over 50 appearances for the Dragons and still only 21. Powerful winger with real size who knows how to finish. Steve McNamara has a diamond that just need polishing.
Huddersfield- Jake Mamo
Astounding first season under Rick Stone, only curtailed by injury. Most definitely the Giants most prized asset, and someone who Huddersfield need to build around to achieve silverware in 2018.
Hull FC- Albert Kelly
One of the most electrifying talents in Super League. Smartest off-the-cuff player in the competition, and a real bet for the 2018 dream team. Has really flourished under Lee Radford.
