PREDICTIONS | Round 25 Super League

Round 25 of the Betfred Super League brings us another fascinating round of fixtures. Kicking off with a battle of the top two teams, then several play-off hopefuls fight against those in a bid to secure survival. Here we take a look at the games and predict who might grab the two points?

Warrington Wolves vs St. Helens (Thursday, 7:45 pm)

Battle of the top two teams, two weeks before they face off at Wembley, the question is how do the coaches approach the game? Risk full throttle or keep calm for the final?

Warrington have been hit with injuries and suspensions as Blake Austin, Josh Charnley and Tom Lineham headline their missing stars, while James Roby sits out for St. Helens.

Justin Holbrook’s men have two wins over the Wolves this year, with the League Leaders Shield already sorted, is a psychological advantage at Wembley all there is to play for?

Prediction: Warrington 12-26 St. Helens

Leeds Rhinos vs Catalans Dragons (Friday, 7:45 PM)

A possible lifeline for the Rhinos as a wounded Dragons team travel to Headingly missing Sam Tomkins and Michael Mcllorum following the unsavoury scenes last weekend

Leeds, on the other hand, have been boosted by recent recruit Rhyse Martin and produced a brilliant performance against Huddersfield last week.

Catalans are still looking to secure play-offs, while Leeds look to fend off relegation, so there is plenty to play for in this match.

Prediction: Leeds Rhinos 16-20 Catalans Dragons

Wigan Warriors vs Hull Kingston Rovers (Friday, 7:45 pm)

Both sides fresh off the back of last-gasp one-point wins last week, and with a drop goal deciding game previous in the year, could we see another tight game?

Wigan are looking to chase down third spot on the ladder, while Rovers look to put more distance between themselves and relegation rivals London Broncos.

A tough game to call, Wigan produced an exceptional 52-10 win over Rovers just four weeks ago, could this be Rovers motivation, or will it give the Warriors a mental advantage?

Prediction: Wigan Warriors 30-20 Hull KR
