As we edge ever closer to the end of the regular season round 26 brings us another exciting set of fixtures to look into. This week we have a possible survival decider, a battle for second and the fight for playoff spots hots up. Let’s take a look at who might grab the two points this week…
Leeds Rhinos vs St. Helens (Thursday, 7:45 pm)
In recent seasons this would be a clash of the titans, this season, less so much. The Rhinos can thank new signings Rob Lui and Rhyse Martin for their recent run of form. Whereas Saints have continued winning ways despite missing some star players.
Justin Holbrookโs men will see this as a warm-up for Wembley, while Leeds look safe sitting four points clear of relegation, despite Leedsโ revive a comfortable Saints win is all I see.
Prediction- Leeds Rhinos 12-30 St. Helens
Wigan Warriors vs Warrington Wolves (Friday, 7:45 pm)
The blockbuster fixture of this round and one which could change Warringtonโs season entirely. A week out from Wembley you would want to avoid a bruising Wigan side.
Wigan could move level with Warrington and Hull FC in the second spot on the table, but Steve Prices men desperately need form back in their side to finish strongly this season.
Prediction- Wigan Warriors 24-20 Warrington Wolves
Hull FC vs Salford Red Devils (Saturday, 5 pm)
Two sides still with a lot to play for as Hull push for second and Salford look to consolidate their play-off spot.
Salford come into the game as the form team with four wins from four and Niall Evalds on fire, however, I expect the ice-cool Marc Sneyd to come up clutch in this game
Prediction- Hull FC 26-20 Salford Red Devils
