It’s round 28 of the Betfred Super League and the action continues to deliver one of the most exciting seasons in recent history.
Castleford Tigers vs Hull FC (Thursday, 7:45 pm)
Despite a 4-0 loss to St. Helens in their last game, Cas can be confident ahead of this week’s fixture. A solid defensively display will play into their hands against the dangerous Hull side.
Hull missed the chance to go second last week and subsequently slipped to fifth. Turned over by relegation troubled Huddersfield and fellow play-off hopefuls Salford the pressure is on.
Prediction: Castleford 24-10 Hull FC
Wigan Warriors vs Catalans Dragons (Friday, 7:45 pm)
Still one of the form teams in the competition Wigan have now moved up to second place. There are rumours of a team shakeup for Adrian Lam’s side but confidence will be sky-high.
Catalans play-off hopes look to have passed them by as they sit 6th in the table. Successive losses to Leeds, London, and Hull KR leaves them in a polar opposite position to the Warriors.
Prediction: Wigan 36-12 Catalans
Hull KR vs London Broncos (Friday, 7:45 pm)
The most important match this weekend, one which could go a long way to deciding the future of these two sides.
Hull KR come into the game off the back of an impressive win over Catalans, while London suffered a loss to Leeds in their last game. I doubt previous results will tell the tale and both clubs will put everything on the line.
Prediction: Hull KR 26-22 London
