Sam Tomkins – Catalans Dragons
Catalans will want to kick on from winning the Challenge Cup last season by challenging for silverware again this season. One thing they needed in order to do this is big game players who have experience of winning finals and they have got this in Sam. Tomkins burst on to the scene as an exciting broken field runner but in more recent years it has been his organisational skills from full back which have flourished. His link up play with former Wigan team-mate Matty Smith could launch them in to the top 4 Super League this season.
